I'm really curious if there are any knockoff batteries similar to the Powerstack batteries available on Amazon. We all know that China tends to replicate a lot of products, so I wonder if they've attempted to create something comparable. What do the specs look like for those alternatives? Just looking for some insights here.

Honestly, I'd say just go for the original ones. I have a 20V battery from 2012, and it's still doing great work for me. Sometimes you just gotta pay for quality. OEM batteries are worth it in the long run!
I would definitely recommend sticking with genuine batteries. My boss got me some knockoff 6Ah ones a few months ago, and honestly, they feel more like 2.5Ah max. They charge up super fast, but I barely get a couple of cuts on plywood before they're drained.
As far as I know, there aren't any reliable clones yet. If they do come out, it's probably going to be something sketchy, like stacking up cell phone batteries. The factories are making cheap 18650 batteries, but there's no ready-made solution for a pouch battery pack like Powerstack. You get what you pay for, so it's risky!

Same here! I’ve got a 3Ah battery that’s now the same size as the newer 5Ah ones. It still powers my circular saw, which is the toughest tool I’ve got. Can’t complain!
