I'm on the lookout for a new 6" jointer, specifically one that isn't a benchtop model since I need longer infeed and outfeed tables. I found a Ridgid jointer for $550 on Facebook Marketplace, but I'd prefer to buy something brand new. Does anyone know if there are any non-bench top 6" jointers available for around $500?

If you’re open to used options, there are plenty of 6” jointers available from people upgrading to wider models. Many older cast iron jointers are solid and can be found for $300-$400 on Marketplace. I've got a vintage one that's over a century old and it works like a charm. Just make sure to check their condition before buying!
