Are There Any Trustworthy Online Nurseries for Plants?

I've been on the hunt for reliable online vendors for fruit trees and plants, but I'm overwhelmed by the number of negative reviews for nearly every company out there. While I've discovered some well-known names like Rain Tree Nursery, One Green World, and Stark Bros, I can't shake the feeling that their bad reviews outweigh the good. Stark Bros seems to avoid the bad reviews trap, but their selection is so limited that it's hard to rely on them (I'm even on their wait-list!). Has anyone here actually had good experiences with online nurseries that are truly honest and responsive to customer issues? I'd appreciate any recommendations or advice from those who have ordered online before! Right now, I'm leaning toward Rain Tree Nursery because they have a decent selection with fewer bad reviews.

As a bookkeeper, I can’t stress enough; if you decide to buy online, use a major credit card instead of a debit card. In case you need to dispute a charge, I’ve found big banks, like Chase or Citi, tend to support customers much better than local banks. Keeping track of evidence is crucial, too!

I've heard good things about fastgrowingtrees.com—they’re highly recommended by friends of mine who are into gardening. That said, it always helps to dig deeper into their reviews, as I've stumbled upon some scary stories too.

I’m curious about them, but those horror stories make me hesitant! I just want a place that actually respects refunds and returns in case things go wrong.

It’s true, reading reviews can be tricky! A lot of people don't do their research before buying, which can lead to negative feedback that's not always fair. Every online nursery probably has its share of hiccups, so it’s wise to manage your expectations. If you're feeling uneasy about online orders, check your local nurseries—though if they don’t carry what you want, it might be worth the gamble!

Exactly! It's like a gamble with online nurseries. I have local options too, but sadly no pomegranate plants nearby. I might just plan a road trip for one!
