Are There Fake Forge Batteries on the Market?

Hey everyone! I stumbled upon a couple of used Forge batteries for a really good price, and I'm curious if anybody knows if fake ones are being made yet. I'm aware that there have been issues with counterfeits in the past, especially with older styles, but I'm not sure about the Forge line. Has anyone encountered this?

There are fakes being sold, for sure. It's always risky buying used unless you know the seller well. I've heard some people have had luck finding legit batteries bundled with tools, but personally, I'd stick to official retailers just to be safe.

Totally agree! Better safe than sorry when it comes to power tools.

Yeah, there are definitely fakes out there. If you want to be safe, it's best to buy from a verified Milwaukee retailer. I was just browsing the Facebook marketplace and came across many listings that seemed sketchy. I wouldn't trust buying used batteries unless it’s from a reputable source. You never know what you might end up with!

That’s a solid point. I usually steer clear of FB marketplace for batteries. Too many knock-offs floating around!
