I have a quick question about Hostas. I'm used to the typical Hostas which send up those tall purple flowers that I don't really like—they seem kind of messy to me. Is there a specific type of Hosta that doesn't produce flowers at all? I'm looking for some hardy green options to fill my porch pots since they don't get much sunlight. All Hostas will bloom eventually, but you can just trim those flower stalks off if you find them unsightly! So, if you’re not a fan of the blooms, just give them a little snip!

There are hostas that have shorter flower stems with white blooms, which look nicer than the tall purple ones. While all Hostas produce some kind of flowers, the look of the leaves is really what you should focus on since that’s the main attraction!
