I'm curious if the chainsaw is the only tool available that comes with a 15 amp battery. I really don't want to shell out $300 just for the battery!

New demo hammers are now featuring the 15 amp batteries as well. Just a heads up, I found what I thought was a fantastic deal on an SDS-Max hammer drill that came with two batteries, but they turned out to be just 9 amp batteries! So do your research before committing.
If you're in the US, you might want to check with a service center. They sometimes offer the 15 amp battery for about $190 if you send something in for repair under warranty, even if it's not broken! Got to love that kind of discount!

Lol, I've never heard of that! But it sounds like a cool hack!
You can find other tools that use the 15 amp battery! For instance, there's a DeWalt core drill and an inline chipping hammer that also use that battery. Definitely worth checking out!
