Hey everyone! I'm looking to find out if there's a register cover specifically designed for inside corners. When I bought my house, the previous owner tried to squeeze a closet into the bedroom and ended up putting a flat register vent in a corner of the living room. It's really old and gross, and I'd like to replace it. Does anyone know if there are corner register covers available, or would I need to make one myself?

Are you dealing with a 90-degree corner? I haven’t found any specific products for that yet, but you might get lucky using two standard grates and cutting them at 45-degree angles to fit the corner. It could be a good solution!
To help you out, what’s the size of the opening? And what does your current one look like? If it's just a standard white one from a big box store, you might want to check out some of the vintage-looking cast iron ones; they look awesome and are more durable. Just a heads up, cutting into them can make them less stable though. You might also try searching for return grills—they're sturdier but usually don't close. If you can share a pic, that’d help get more ideas!
Yeah, it's one of those cheap big box store ones that’s been cut for the corner. I'm thinking of getting a cast iron piece to better cover up the cut side without restricting airflow too much.

Exactly! It's a 90-degree corner, but it seems one part is longer than the other, which complicates things a bit.
