I'm wondering if it's safe to take out these structures that I found in my place. They look like Xs and I'm unsure if they serve any purpose or if they're just there for looks. Here's a link to an image for context: https://imgur.com/a/FQUuRob. What do you all think?

Yes, definitely remove them! I've seen similar setups before and they usually don't serve a significant purpose. Just make sure to check with a contractor if you're still worried.
I can't imagine those structures are actually structural. They might just be there for support during construction, but once the house was finished, they probably aren't doing anything anymore.
