Are Third-Party Forge Batteries on Walmart Worth the Risk?

Asked By TechyTraveler92 On

I'm considering buying some Forge batteries being sold by third-party sellers on Walmart, and I've noticed they're priced significantly lower, like $50 to $75 off the regular price. Are these batteries safe to purchase, or is there a risk that they might be counterfeit?

I'd say it's a gamble. Sites like Walmart and Amazon might have some third-party sellers that aren't authorized, which opens you up to the possibility of counterfeit items. If you do buy from there, make sure you can easily return it if needed. Otherwise, you might end up paying more in the long run!

Exactly! It’s better to spend a bit more upfront rather than worrying about returns and counterfeit products.

Honestly, I wouldn't trust them at all. Walmart doesn’t really take responsibility for counterfeits, so if something goes wrong, you're on your own. It’s not worth the risk!

You really can't be sure whether the batteries are genuine or not if you buy from third-party sellers. The safest bet is to go through authorized dealers where you know you're getting the real deal. Avoid the headache of fake products!
