I recently had a shower with tempered glass installed, but it has these large circular logos that really stand out. I thought the contractor would remove them since they look unsightly, but they claim it's standard and I'm being too picky. Is it common for there to be these big circular logos, or is there something off about this installation?

It sounds like what you’re seeing is standard for tempered glass, though some folks refer to those logos as a "bug." What’s odd is how noticeable they are on your panels. Usually, you can specify where you want those markings during the order process. Maybe check with another glass professional to get a second opinion!
Yeah, those logos are usually etched into the glass. It’s a way to mark it as tempered. However, I do think the size and placement can be questionable. It might vary by manufacturer, but I've never seen logos that huge or in such awkward spots.
