Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a new table saw and I'm interested in either the Delta 36-725T2 or the RIDGID R4560. The issue is that I can't seem to find either of these models at any Lowe's or Home Depot locations here in Arizona. I'm wondering if these models are being phased out for newer ones, or if they were completely sold out after Black Friday. Also, I'm seeing a lot of older saws in the used market that don't have riving knives, and honestly, that makes me a bit uneasy!

You might want to consider adding a splitter, which acts like a riving knife and enhances safety. You can create one from various materials, just make sure it’s slightly narrower than your blade's kerf. Here’s a link to some advice on making a shop-made splitter!
It's really not worth the risk to use table saws that lack a riving knife. Honestly, both Home Depot and Lowe’s don’t carry a wide range of serious table saws. They mostly have basic tools for beginners. If you can be patient, you might be able to snag one eventually, or you could check out online options for better availability.
If you're open to alternatives, I’d recommend checking out the SawStop Compact Table Saw. It’s priced at $899 and includes great safety features like a riving knife. I've been a professional woodworker for eight years and let me tell you, preserving your digits is invaluable!
