Battery Capacity Concerns After Depletion

I've accidentally drained my 48V LiFePO4 battery multiple times, and I recently noticed its capacity decreased from 100Ah to 93.8Ah. Since I'm still learning about battery management, I wanted to know if this drop is concerning. Do I have enough capacity to power my home? Will this affect the overall lifespan of the battery? What tips do you have to help me use the battery efficiently and extend its life? Thanks for any advice!

To maintain your battery's health, make sure you’re hitting full charge often (that’s 58V for a 16-cell battery). This helps balance the cells. If your BMS limits charging, you might want to check if you can tweak settings or add a balancer.

Seriously, can a 100Ah battery even power a whole house? That’s quite a stretch unless you're doing minimal living. Just curious! What do you have running off it?

I have a 48V setup powering my home for 2.5 years now, mainly the fridge, TV, lights, and some gaming systems. It usually handles everything just fine.

That loss in capacity is a bit more than you'd expect, unless the battery has been sitting at 0% for a while. The BMS usually does a good job of preventing deeper discharges. As for powering your home, unless you're in a super tiny space, a 100Ah battery might struggle to fully supply energy to a normal household. You need to consider average usage too, not just what you've been running so far. Check how much you were consuming before to see if you're still in the safe zone.
