I'm planning to get the M18 Packout vacuum and I'm curious about which dust collector attachments work best with it. I'm also looking for a hose extension that gives me about 2 meters of reach, so I can keep the vacuum on the floor while I'm using it on steps. Is there a way to attach it to a set of steps, or any tips on compatibility between the hose and the nozzle attachments?

If you have access to a 3D printer or know someone who does, check out Thingiverse! There are tons of free designs for adapters that work with various brands. Honestly, getting a budget 3D printer is worth it for small projects like this. I recently whipped up a jig to connect my Milwaukee circular saw to my Makita track saw, and it saved me about £800 instead of buying the full kit! It's super handy!
That's awesome! I have a printer too, but I'm not sure if I can handle making hoses or attachments because I'm not great with tech.
For a reliable hose extension, I recommend the Cen-Tec Systems 94698 Quick Click. You can find it on Amazon, comes with multiple adapters for compatibility. I have it in different lengths (10, 16, and 20 ft), and it works great with the Packout as well as my other vacuums like the Ridgid.

Don't worry, if I figured it out, anyone can! It's really not that complicated.
