I'm not really experienced with my bandsaw. I've tried using it but it seems to have a mind of its own, and I don't get along with it at all. I want to start resawing some pricey woods like bloodwood, purpleheart, and padauk into around 1/8" thick pieces for inlays. My last attempt with dried pine took forever, and I just can't figure out the right blade for the job. Can anyone recommend a specific blade I should get and maybe point me to where I can buy it?

You should definitely try the Highland Woodworking Wood Slicer blade. It's specifically designed for resawing, and it works great with exotic woods. By the way, check out the Alex Snodgrass videos for bandsaw setup tips; they're super helpful!
Yeah, Highland has a solid selection of blades, and following Snodgrass's advice will really help you get your bandsaw set up right.
How much horsepower does your bandsaw have? Knowing that can help determine the blade you need since higher HP can handle heavier cuts better.
Go for a 3/4" blade with 4 TPI, and you should be all set! Just ensure your saw is well-tuned, and you'll fly through logs in no time.
For resawing, you'll want a blade with fewer teeth per inch (TPI). Something around 4-5 TPI is good because it leaves fewer marks and cuts faster without making you wrestle with the saw too much. Pine can be tricky since it gums up the blade, which can be misleading when you're judging the saw's performance. Stick to hardwoods when testing out your setup!

Thanks for the tip! I'll make sure to watch those videos.
