I've been considering adding some succulents to my desk and home for decoration. Are there any recommendations for beginner-friendly options? Also, is there a good guide out there for taking care of them? What should I be looking at for my first succulent?

If you're just starting out, I'd suggest getting a haworthia! They thrive indoors and are really low-maintenance. Just make sure you don’t overwater them.
Pretty much any succulent will need more light than typical houseplants, so make sure your desk gets some sun. If it doesn’t, a grow lamp will help a lot! Pot them in a mix of commercial succulent soil and perlite for best results. I recommend easy ones like Aloe, Jade, or Echeveria. Also, don’t forget to wash the soil off the roots before planting!
Hey, I actually have a 300w grow light! How long can I keep them under it? Would it work if I let them sit near the window during the day?
Ooohhh I know these! My mother had them. Thanks for the suggestion 🙂
