Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a corded SDS+ Rotary Hammer to help with some home improvement projects, especially tearing up tile that's been a real headache. I'm considering a model with a chisel tip, which should make the job so much easier. I've got my eye on a couple of Bosch models, like the GBH2-28L and RH328VC, but I'm trying to keep the budget under $300. Most of the work will be for tile removal rather than concrete drilling. Is it a bad idea to go this route, or are Bosch tools really worth it? I've heard good things about both Bosch and DeWalts but I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks! Just as a note, I'm looking specifically for corded options since we'll have power sources available for our projects.

Before you dive in, think about how much you'll actually use it after this project. Renting could be a better option if it’s just a one-time thing. However, if you're set on buying, I've used M18 rotary hammers - both the SDS and SDS max versions have been solid for me. They handle tough jobs well!

Thanks for the recommendation! We have at least five projects lined up, so we're leaning toward buying for the long haul. Plus, we're kind of tool enthusiasts, always looking for the best gear. I’ll definitely check out the M18!
