Best Climbers to Grow in Pots?

I'm looking for recommendations on climbing plants that do well in pots. I've heard various options but would love to get some insights on what has worked for you. Any specific varieties that thrive when grown this way?

I've had amazing results with star jasmine in a pot, growing it up a trellis. It was bushy, bloomed a lot, and just looked stunning. I've had it for four years and last year was its best!

Consider tender perennial climbers like Ipomoea or Cobaea! I grow mine in big pots, and they really appreciate the space. Just make sure to drill holes for drainage; they thrive with room for their roots!

Clematis and climbing roses are definitely solid choices if you're going for something classic. They really flourish in containers.

I've had great luck with climbing roses, clematis, and even honeysuckle in pots. They all seem to do well and add a nice touch to the garden!
