I'm looking for a reliable way to measure how many amps my mini PC is drawing over time and specifically want to capture the peak amps it pulls. Can anyone recommend a suitable device for this task?

There are quite a few smart plugs available that not only show you real-time power consumption but also log cumulative usage. Capturing peak values might require specific features, so make sure to check how detailed you need the data to be. If you're just pushing the PC to see peak draw, those should work fine!
You might want to consider using a Kill-a-watt meter. It's a straightforward option that plugs into your wall outlet and can provide you with real-time usage stats. However, I'm not sure if it tracks peak usage, though there might be a more advanced version that does.

That sounds promising! I’m mainly looking to see those peak amps, so I think getting a smart plug like that is worth a shot.
