My reliable Dewalt (791) drill just kicked the bucket, and I'm looking to get another Dewalt XR drill. Can anyone share their recommendations for a solid replacement?

If you're looking for something really powerful, the DCD1007 is a fantastic option—it's a beast! But if you want something a bit lighter, the DCD803 gets great reviews too.
If you're thinking about the 1007, it’s great but definitely bigger and heavier. The DCD805 or 806 are also good choices if you still want something manageable.
For daily use, I'd say go with the DCD800 or 801. But if you need something that can really handle tough jobs in one go, the DCD1007 is the way to go!
Just grabbed the DCD805 recently, and I can highly recommend it—great balance of power and size!
