I'm planning to redo my kitchen countertops but I'm a bit lost on what material to choose. I'm looking for something that's budget-friendly yet durable— ideally, it shouldn't chip, stain, or scratch easily. I don't usually cut directly on the countertops, so that's not a concern for me. Since I own the building and will be in this apartment for a while, I want to make sure it looks nice too. The kitchen's color scheme is light green and white with gold accents, so something that fits that aesthetic would be great. Any tips, tricks, or suggestions would be welcomed!

If you’re looking for something low-maintenance, laminate is a solid choice. It’s affordable and can look really nice. Just make sure your base cabinets are level before you install it; that could save you a headache later!
I totally agree! We chose laminate for our kitchen too, and it allowed us to allocate our budget to other areas. It looks great and is perfect for a chic update!
Butcher block could be a great option! Just remember to seal it well to protect against moisture.

Funny you mention leveling; nothing in my apartment is leveled! ?
