I'm looking for a durable drill driver with a budget of around 150 CAD (approximately 110 USD). I need something powerful enough to drive 4-inch deck screws into logs, but I don't want to overspend on features I don't need. I just want a reliable tool that comes with a good battery life. Any recommendations?

Honestly, I think the M12 Fuel drill/driver kit is perfect for you. It's currently about $150 with a good sale, and you get two batteries and a charger. It's powerful and compact — better than newer subcompacts for the same price. I use mine for most tasks and rarely pull out my heavier M18. It's versatile!
The Milwaukee M12 Fuel is a fantastic choice for your needs! It's powerful enough for most situations, and I've had great success with the M18 version myself. Just make sure to pair it with a decent battery like a 5Ah, and you'll have no issues drilling into logs. It's sturdy and lasts a long time!
If you want good quality on a budget, consider the M18 drill. I bought mine for about 100 USD and it’s still performing great after years of use. You might also want to check out the brushed versions, which are around 128 USD. They're solid but note that the Fuel model is pricier but worth it for the power!
