I'm looking for a good face mask that can handle dust when I'm working part-time in a shop. I do a lot of milling, generating about 17 wheelbarrows of dust over three days. Currently, I'm using N95 paper masks, but they're not great because they become uncomfortable due to the sweat. I tried 3M masks with cartridges, but they tend to slide around because of my sweating. I've heard mixed reviews about RZ masks, but I'm considering them since they might stay in place better. Does anyone have suggestions for a mask that can hold up for more than six hours and manage the sweat? Thanks!

I've been using an RZ mask and it's worked well for me. It's comfortable and keeps the dust out effectively. My only other experience is with N95 masks, so there might be better options out there, but I haven't found anything better for my needs.
I really like 3M full face masks for sweaty work. They fit comfortably and do a great job of sealing around your face. If you're working in a dusty environment for so long, it's definitely worth checking them out! They're designed to handle prolonged use without a lot of hassle.
What works for me is wearing a gator mask over my dust mask along with headphones. This keeps everything snug and in place nicely, even when sweating. Just an idea if you’re looking for a different approach!
You might want to look into the Powerflo 3M or Trend Micro Flow. They have little fans in the mask that help keep things cool and reduce sweat, which sounds perfect for your situation!
The Trend Airshield Pro is a total game changer. If you’re looking for comfort and functionality, you should definitely give it a shot; it handles sweat and dust like a champ!
