Best Fridge Options for Tight Spaces?

Hey everyone! I recently moved into a new house and need some help figuring out what kind of fridge will fit in the space the builder left for it. There's a wall right next to where the fridge will go, and I'm concerned that it could limit how fully the door opens. The fridge space measures about 36 inches wide, and the front door is around 35 inches. The height to the top of the space is about 70 inches. I've got a link to a picture of the setup for reference: [Fridge Space Image](https://imgur.com/a/YuuIQwi). I'm leaning toward a bottom freezer style, but I'm wondering if French door models are feasible here. Are there alternatives, like using the area next to the door instead? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

When you're shopping for a fridge, make sure to try opening just the one door straight out and check if all the drawers are accessible. Zero-clearance hinges are definitely worth considering! In my own setup, I went with these hinges, but I still can't fully remove my bottom deli drawer because the doors don't swing wide enough. So double-check everything to avoid any issues!

Honestly, I think you might be overthinking this a bit. The cabinet height looks appropriate at 70 inches. The door should clear that wall if you check it properly. Also, about the front door you mentioned—most fridges don't require the door to be taken off for delivery. Just make sure you're comfortable with the delivery process. It might save you some stress!

I recommend looking for a fridge that's around 33 to 34 inches wide. Despite the wall, there should be enough clearance for the door to open at a full 90-degree angle. Just make sure the height doesn't exceed 69 inches, as most fridges need some clearance around them for ventilation. If you decide to go for a taller fridge, raising the cabinet could help! There are plenty of French door models that fit this size, too.
