Best Inflator Recommendations for Everyday Use?

Asked By CoolBreeze99 On

I'm in the market for a versatile inflator that I can use for various purposes such as bike tires, floaties, and balls. It would also be handy to have a unit that can fit in my car for road trips, especially in case of a tire losing pressure. I've looked into the DCC020 but have noticed some good reviews for generic DeWalt battery-compatible inflators too. Any advice or recommendations would be great! Cheers!

Had the DCC020 myself. I used it on several bike tires and even for a lawnmower tire, but the pressure switch failed on me. Even within the warranty, getting it fixed was a nightmare. Just something to consider!

Yeah, I heard that too, but it seems like it performs okay overall.

I'd say just go with the DeWalt and save yourself the hassle. It's a reliable choice and worth spending a bit more compared to the off-brand options. I have a Meliff as well, but honestly, it's smaller yet way louder, not as powerful, and doesn't have a high-volume port. DeWalt gets my vote.

Sounds good! I've heard similar things, just wanted to make sure from someone who's used it.

I totally agree, the DeWalt inflator might not be the cheapest, but it gets the job done for anything you need. It handles high and low pressure with various attachments, and you can power it with a battery, car, or mains, which is super convenient for road trips. Definitely a solid all-rounder!

Thanks for the input! That sounds like the way to go for me.
