I'm located in Vermont and dealing with a unique challenge when it comes to landscaping around my driveway. One side of the driveway has a snow plow that leaves a massive pile of hard packed snow, sometimes as high as 4 feet. I'm really struggling to choose plants that can survive in these conditions, and I'm also wondering if I can maintain a woodchip bed despite the heavy snow accumulation.

Perennial flowers are a great option for your situation! They get cut back in the winter, which means the plow can easily push the snow on top without damaging them. You might want to check with your local nursery for varieties that will thrive in your zone.
Awesome! I'll have to look into perennial flowers more. I just assumed they would be damaged. I'm planning on talking to my local nursery today.
