I'm looking to buy some manure to enhance my raised garden beds where I grow flowers. I haven't been able to find any from local farms, so I'm considering bagged manure from garden centers like B&Q or Wickes. There are just so many brands available, it's a bit overwhelming! I'd love some recommendations. I already have a peony and agapanthus in one bed, plus some lilies in another. Any advice would be super helpful. Thanks!

Pro tip: Call local stables or equestrian centers. They usually have excess manure that they give away or sell for cheap! You might be able to score some for free, especially if you offer to gather it yourself. Just a heads up, you might want to check what type you're getting first, but many places are just looking to get rid of it!
Have you thought about using pelleted chicken manure instead? If your soil is decent, it can really help boost nutrients for your plants. A 20kg bag can cover about 100 square meters, which is pretty efficient! You might want to check it out on Amazon too.
Check out Sylvagrow Farmyard manure from Melcourt. It's really well-regarded and might be the perfect fit for your flower beds! I found it online too at B&Q. Have you looked there?
I did see it on B&Q’s site! Just wondering if you’ve actually used it?

I wouldn't even know how to identify what kind of manure I'm getting though!
