Hey everyone! I'm working on a project where I need to create some large semi-circles in a thick piece of wood that's 40mm (about 1 3/4 inches) thick. The semi-circles I'm aiming for are 60mm (2 1/3 inches) and 180mm (7 inches) in diameter. I was considering using a plunge router, but unfortunately, I don't have a bit that's long enough to get through the thickness. What would be the cleanest and easiest way to achieve this repeatedly? Any advice or tips are much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

A solid approach would be to start with a wider piece of wood, drill your holes where the circles need to be, and then rip cut through the line of holes. If you begin with a board that's twice as wide with the holes centered, you'll end up with two identical pieces!
But drilling those holes accurately is the tricky part! I tried this with my 14" bandsaw, but the board's a bit long, and the throat isn't deep enough for the length. I managed to do the outer ones but it turned out messy, needing a lot of cleanup. Do you think using a straight cutter on one side then flipping it over to use a flush trim bit would help make it smooth?
