I'm building a spray unit and need a compact accumulator tank capable of handling 160 psi. Ideally, it should be lightweight—definitely something smaller than a propane tank or fire extinguisher. I've considered heavy-duty PVC, but I'd prefer a design that doesn't involve gluing. A SodaStream bottle could work, but I'm looking for something compatible with standard fittings. Any recommendations or thoughts?

Have you thought about using a small tube for soldering gas? Those are usually the right size for what you're looking for. Might be worth checking out if you can find the right fittings to match it.
I see you’re a bit wary of using glued PVC. To be honest, it can handle pressure, but there's always a risk factor, especially since this is for an herbicide spray rig. If you're considering it, just make sure you're using the right adhesives and testing it well; otherwise, a mini scuba tank might be a safer bet since they’re designed for pressure.
You could also look into tanks designed for paintball guns. They come in various sizes, so you should be able to find one that fits your needs. Just a heads up though, the lighter ones can get pricey, so try to find a second-hand option to save some cash.
Great idea! I’ll definitely check out the second-hand market to see if I can snag one for a decent price.

Good thought! Just worried about finding a fitting with the right threading. Hopefully, it won’t be too tricky!
