Best Options for Ultra Insulated Dampers in Kitchen Exhaust?

Hey everyone! I'm planning to upgrade our kitchen's exhaust fan, but the duct work for external air exhaust is blocked, likely due to the hot and humid weather in our area. We're experiencing a lot of air intrusion, especially in our bathrooms, where even two spring dampers in line don't seem to help. I've come across a lot of electric dampers online, but most have very thin mechanisms. Does anyone have suggestions for electric dampers that can really seal off outside air completely?

Before making a decision, consider also how the damper performs under your specific conditions. If the grease and humidity are issues, make sure the quality of your vent baffles is good. I’ve used a remote blower for years, and it's been solid with stainless steel rigid ducting; still looks pristine!

You might want to look into low leakage control dampers since they’re designed to minimize air intrusion. But be careful! Using them with kitchen grease can be a nightmare because over time, the grease can seize them up and make them ineffective.
