I'm looking for advice on the best organic pest control methods for these crops. I've heard about planting marigolds or rosemary around my veggies, and someone even mentioned using yeast. I’ve had success with nasturtiums as a trap crop for aphids; they attract the pests away from my kale. As for cabbage worms, I usually hand-pick them off at night—turns out they blend in really well with the leaves! You can also try using very few organic pesticides, to keep some balance in your garden for birds and ladybugs.
When I visited an organic apple orchard, the farmer used a mix of neem oil, fish oil, and kaolin clay sprayed on the tree trunks.
