Best Paint Finish for a Bathroom Ceiling?

Asked By CraftyNinja83 On

I'm working on my bathroom, which doesn't have any ventilation. I recently repaired the plaster on the ceiling and applied a primer/sealer. Now I'm looking for the right type of paint to finish it off. I've read that matte might not be the best option. Should I go with semi-gloss, eggshell, or satin for the final coat?

For a bathroom, I'd recommend using semi-gloss paint. It's great for resisting moisture and mildew, plus it’s easy to clean!

You should definitely check out Zinsser's Perma-White mildew-proof paint. It comes in both satin and semi-gloss, but I suggest going with satin for a nice finish.

Thanks! I looked it up and it seems like that paint will be a good option.
