Hey everyone! I'm getting ready to paint the siding on my new shed, which is made of LP smartsiding that requires acrylic latex paint. I've tried using a brush, but it feels like it's taking forever and I'm wasting a lot of paint. What paint sprayer would you recommend for this job?

I highly recommend getting a Graco X5. It's great for homeowners—I've used it for my house exterior and even kitchen cabinets. Just be prepared for a bit of cleanup afterward; it's not a huge deal, but it can take some time! You've got this!
When I painted my house, I rented an airless sprayer from a local rental company. It worked really well and was budget-friendly.
I'm in the exact same boat! I just got the Avanti two-stage paint sprayer from Harbor Freight for $100 after signing up for their club membership. I was spraying within an hour! It's been fantastic for my shed—definitely saved me time. I suggest checking out some YouTube videos for tips before you start, though!
Keep in mind that spraying can use more paint than brushing or rolling. Airless sprayers have a lower paint transfer rate (about 60% efficiency) compared to HVLP sprayers (up to 90%). If you don't need a perfect finish for your shed, an airless sprayer could be the way to go. Just think about what other projects you might use it for!

I have a deck and a fence that also need restaining, so I thought about that too. The brush isn't great for this siding!
