Best Place for Houseplants with East and West Facing Windows?

I live in a townhouse with only east and west facing windows. I've heard that north and south facing windows are better for houseplants, and I'm wondering where my plants should be placed to thrive since I don't have those types of windows.

I’ve heard people say that north-facing windows are the best, but that’s actually not true—especially for most houseplants! East and west windows are usually great choices. Don't worry, plenty of plants will do just fine with the light you have!

Totally agree! Many plants actually prefer east and west facing windows, so you're in a good spot for most varieties. Just keep an eye on their signs to see if they’re happy!

Honestly, it really doesn’t matter that much! Even a south-facing window might not provide enough light if it's shielded by trees. The key is to choose plants that thrive in your conditions. As long as you’ve got windows, you’ll find some plants that will be happy in your space.
