Best Place for My Robot Lawnmower Dock?

Hey everyone, I recently bought a robot lawnmower from Lidl and I'm a bit confused about where to set up the docking station. My garden isn't huge—it has a patio and some grass—but I need to get an outdoor socket installed for the mower. I've heard that the dock should be at least 2m away from the house and have 2m of space in front and 1m behind it. Is that right? I'm really struggling to find a suitable spot in my garden. Am I overthinking this, or is there a smart way to fit it into a smaller space?

I was also confused about this—PPMT nailed it. Just keep the dock parallel to the edge, and remember to keep that wire at 35cm away from your wall. You're good to go!

Brilliant, thanks! I think I can just make the 2m one side and 1m the other while keeping a shorter gap to the house!

It can actually be pretty close to your house! Just make sure to position the dock parallel to the house and keep the wire about 35cm away from the wall. You need at least 2m of clearance in front and just 1m behind, so that should help you fit it better!

Thank you! That makes it a bit more feasible!

I haven't set mine up yet, but I'm not sure why there’s a 1m clearance behind the dock. I also have my garage in the way.
