Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for quality lumber suppliers in the greater Los Angeles area. I want to find options that beat the big box stores, but I'm having a tough time. Google helps a bit, but I'd really appreciate some personal recommendations since I usually don't have much time to explore different places due to my work schedule. Any suggestions?

I’ve got a ranked list of lumber suppliers that could really help you out:
1. Bonhoff Lumber – They have a massive selection and great prices. Just keep in mind that all their lumber is rough sawn, and milling can cost extra.
2. Austin Hardwoods – A solid choice with a good amount of S2S and S3S lumber. Prices aren't as great as Bonhoff, but they have some nice sheet goods too.
3. Hudson & West – Comparable to Austin, but located in LA County, so it’s more accessible for you. They’re smaller but maintain high quality.
4. West Coast Lumber – They’re a bit hit or miss on selection, but their prices are low, like $4 a BF for maple! Mostly caters to cabinet makers, though.
Hopefully, this helps!
If you’re on the east side, check out Reel Lumber in Riverside. They’re open on Saturday mornings, so that might work for you!

What about options in the north/west area? Like near Woodland Hills?
