I'm working on a DIY project and need about 50 feet of relatively thin moulding. I checked out Home Depot, but their price is $2.89 per foot, which totals over $150! I'm hoping to keep my costs down and find a more budget-friendly option. Any recommendations on where to buy moulding cheaper?

A local millwork store could be a good option too. They often have a larger variety and sometimes lower prices since that's their specialty.
Have you tried doing a quick Google search for "moulding near me"? You'll often find various specialty stores that might have what you need. Just a heads up, though, prices can vary a lot depending on how much you're buying.
Lowe's usually has a great selection, and sometimes they have better prices than Home Depot if the wood type isn't a big deal. Check out Menards if there's one near you; they tend to be cheaper too. Also, consider looking at lumber yards. I've found that buying longer pieces online, like 8-12 feet, can really save you money since stores charge per foot for shorter cuts. Plus, if you opt for shipping to store, you avoid delivery fees!
