Best Places to Buy Bulbs and Seeds Online?

Asked By BloomingNinja22 On

I'm starting a flower garden in zone 9 and I'm having trouble finding bulbs and seeds at local stores. Despite it being planting season, the options at places like Walmart, Home Depot, and Lowe's have been disappointing or too pricey. I'm considering checking out local nurseries, but I'm also looking for reliable online retailers as a backup. Any recommendations?

If you want quality seeds, try MIgardener or Botanical Interests. Both have great varieties and they’ve worked well for me! Really easy to order from and you get good germination rates.

For seeds, I swear by harisseeds.com. I've had excellent germination rates with them. Also, don’t overlook Baker Creek—they have a unique selection that can be really fun to explore! In addition, trueleafmarket.com and seedsnow.com are also worth checking out for a range of options.

I've had good luck with sites like dutchbulb.com for bulbs and K. van Bourondien for a variety of seeds. Also check out Parks Seed Company and Burpee; they have a solid selection! Don't forget about Seeds and Such, Pinetree Seeds, and Territorial Seed Company if you're looking for more options. These are some of my go-tos for quality gardening supplies.
