I'm looking to upgrade my tool collection and I've decided to invest in Milwaukee tools because my dad swears by them. I want to get the M12 Fuel Impact Driver/Hammer Drill combo and was hoping to take advantage of Home Depot's free battery offer. However, my closest store is Lowe's, and I don't go to Home Depot often. I recently visited a store near my work but had to wait for quite a while for someone to unlock the display case and ended up leaving empty-handed. I also ordered from Home Depot online for in-store pickup, but I haven't received any notification about my order being ready yet. Are there any better local dealers for Milwaukee tools? I'd prefer to buy locally, but I don't mind online orders if local stores don't seem interested in my business. I'm seriously considering going for a Harbor Freight 20V Hercules combo kit instead.

Home Depot might not always give you the best experience, but they often have the best prices, especially if you catch a sale. Just be careful with the online options—WaySource and Factory Authorized Outlet can be great for deals, but avoid Amazon or Walmart unless you’re sure you’re dealing with authorized sellers to avoid warranty headaches. It's really a mixed bag depending on which Home Depot you visit, though.
