Hey everyone! I'm starting a project that requires me to make both horizontal and vertical cuts with a saw. I'm looking for recommendations on where to find good, affordable saws. Do you think antique shops or flea markets would be better options, or should I just go for Amazon or a local box store? Thanks a bunch! ❤️

Check out the Kreg Rip Cut or the Kreg Accu Cut track saw! They work well with most circular saws and make it super easy to cut down 4x8 plywood. I used to rely on my table saw, but these saws are way more convenient and way cheaper. Just make sure if you go the table saw route, invest in a SawStop – losing a finger is just not worth the risk!
I've scored a lot of my tools from OfferUp recently, and they were pretty affordable. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for some good deals. But yeah, also consider what the other folks mentioned!
You might want to clarify what you're actually working on. The terms 'horizontal' and 'vertical' cuts can mean a lot depending on your project. What size are the boards? And are you thinking about hand tools or power tools? Also, having a budget in mind can really help narrow down your options. There are so many types of saws out there!
