I'm on the hunt for good places to buy topsoil. Any recommendations? It's been tough trying to figure out prices. Do most of you prefer buying from garden centers in those small grab bags, or is it better to purchase online?

I'm searching for organic topsoil too. It's tricky to figure out where to get it without any mixed-in chemicals!
I was also curious about this! I've stripped the grass from my 'new build' garden to create a flower bed and want to improve the soil. I'm leaning more towards compost or manure rather than just topsoil, but I guess places that sell large bags would be good for both.
I usually call up grab hire companies to get a load of topsoil that they've picked up from various places. Just a heads-up - it might take a week or so for them to find something suitable, but it's worth it for a bulk purchase.
I ordered a 1200-liter bulk bag of compost-enriched topsoil from Quality Garden Supplies online. No problems so far; really happy with it!
For me, I stick to small bags for top dressing my lawn. They're so easy to handle - just dump one where you need it and spread it out. Perfect for quick jobs!
I just go to my local aggregates supplier, Longwater Gravel. I order loose loads, but they also offer dumpy bags. You should definitely have a similar place nearby!
