I'm diving into woodworking and currently working in my driveway. However, I'm concerned that the noise from my miter and circular saw might be annoying my neighbors. Besides possibly joining a co-op woodshop, are there any public areas where I can use my tools and make cuts without worrying too much about the noise?

Check out any local maker spaces! They often have the tools you might need and a friendly community of fellow woodworkers to share the space with. Plus, you'll have access to more equipment without the noise concern in your neighborhood.
You might want to consider if working in your driveway is okay during reasonable hours. A bit of noise from woodworking is generally expected in residential areas, and power tools tend to be quieter than things like lawnmowers or leaf blowers.

Absolutely! Maker spaces are super helpful and totally worth it!
