I'm looking for suggestions on what plants to place at my aunt's gravesite. She loved bird feeders, so I'm planning to add one there along with a plant. The site is about 2.5 hours away from me, so I can't tend to it regularly. The only restriction is no trees can be planted, and the planting zone is 8. Any ideas for flowers that are low maintenance but still beautiful?

Definitely look into native plants for your zone! They're adapted to the local climate and typically need less care, making them perfect for a spot that's a bit hard to maintain. Plus, they can survive better with the local conditions!
You might want to consider Coneflowers or Rudbeckia! Both of these are drought-resistant and thrive in full sun, which makes them great options for your aunt's gravesite. They'll stay vibrant without needing a lot of upkeep.
