Hey everyone! I'm new to the forum and I'm looking for some plant suggestions for my windowless bathroom. I'm eager to make the space feel more vibrant with greenery, but I know there won't be any natural sunlight. Are there any plants that thrive in these low-light conditions and are also safe for cats? I have a spider plant in mind since I know it's cat-friendly, but I'd love to hear about other options too! I'm planning to use some small plants on my shower caddy to fill up some empty spots. I'm also open to rotating plants in and out for some sunlight every week. Thanks in advance for your help!

I have a peace lily in my bathroom that practically takes over the countertop! I also like to rotate my pothos over the tub. They’re great because they can handle low light, although not completely no light. Just remember to keep an eye on them!
Rotating your plants for sunlight is a smart idea! That way, even low-light plants can still get a bit of energy. I think pothos would do fine with that routine. Just make sure to look up about their safety for cats if you’re uncertain about other plant choices. Good luck!
Honestly, in a bathroom without windows, you're better off with fake plants unless you use grow lights. They really help, but you’d need to keep the lights on for quite a while each day to make it work. If you do that, pothos would be one of your best bets as they can handle low light. Just make sure you don’t leave them in complete darkness!

Yeah, and if you can find full spectrum grow bulbs for your fixtures, that could help the plants a lot more too!
