I'm trying to hang a towel rack and a mirror, along with a few other heavy items on drywall. I want to make sure they stay up securely and don't fall down. I've heard that plastic anchors aren't reliable. Can anyone suggest a good brand or type of screw or anchor to use? I'd really appreciate any links or recommendations!

For securing heavy items, toggle bolts are your best bet. They're super strong and can handle quite a bit of weight on drywall. Definitely worth checking out!
What you're looking for are drywall anchors. You can usually find some great kits at Home Depot for around $15. They typically come with screws, anchors, and a drill bit. Don't forget to grab a level and a tape measure too, it'll help a ton! You've got this!
If you're considering something simpler, the plastic screw-in anchors work well for lighter loads, but if your items are heavy, the toggle bolts will be a safer choice!
