I'm looking to charge a 48V LiPo battery (5kW) using a 400W solar panel. Can anyone recommend a good solar charge controller for this setup?

If you're going for your battery setup, I'd recommend checking out the Renogy solar charge controllers. They offer reliable options that won't break the bank. Keep in mind, though, you'll need to boost your solar panel's voltage to ensure it's high enough above 48V for the MPPT to kick in effectively. Most solar panels will need this adjustment to work well.
I've been looking into Victron controllers too! They have a ton of models which can make it confusing. I want to charge my battery while camping, but I'm still trying to figure out how to choose the right one since I know MPPT is essential.
