Hey everyone! I've recently gotten into gardening and want to add a birdhouse to my garden. I read that the entrance should ideally face between North and East. But I'm a bit confused—does that mean I should position the house so that it's actually directed between those two directions? Or should I place it on the southwest side of my garden so that when you look out from it, it's facing northeast? Any advice on how to set this up would be great!

You want your birdhouse to ideally face somewhere between North and East to keep it protected from harsh weather. It should be high enough to avoid predators, and placing it near bushes or trees will help the birds feel safe before entering. Your garden birds will appreciate the effort! 😊
Thanks for breaking that down! I'm planning to add a couple of birdhouses, so this info is super helpful.
