I'm working on a small project involving pallet wood, and I need to attach various pieces of wood where the end grain meets face grain. Before I get started, does anyone have any tips or advice on how to do this effectively?

Definitely pre-drill your holes to avoid splitting the wood! Also, wax your screws to make driving them in smoother. Make sure to use proper wood screws rather than something like sheet metal screws as they might not hold as well in this type of connection.

Would MDF screws work for this? Also, what length of screws should I be looking at?
