Best Tips for Tackling Shop Dust Cleanup?

Hey everyone! Every workshop experiences those messy dust moments, like when the dust collector bag comes loose or operations on the router or lathe send fine dust flying around. I'm curious if anyone here has found effective methods to clean up the fine dust afterward. I've tried using a fan to blow out one door while keeping another open, and then leaf blowing the place to get the dust into the air. However, it feels like the fine dust settles back for weeks after a thorough clean. Have you all had success with micro-dust filtration fans or boxes that get rid of the leftover dust that the main system might miss?

I rig up my dust collector's 4" hose and basically use it like a broom. It sucks up everything in sight, and surprisingly, it clears the air pretty well in just a few minutes. I also have an oversized air filtration unit—my routine involves running that with my fans while I clean with my air compressor, which helps remove a lot of the dust despite some settling back down.

I've got a vacuum that I go over every reachable surface with. For the areas I can't get to, they usually get neglected until I have to access them.

I use a vacuum with a HEPA filter on it, then I open up my big doors and blast everything with an electric leaf blower. After that, I let my air cleaner run for a few hours to clear out any lingering dust.
