Best Trailing Plants to Cover Up an Ugly Retaining Wall?

Hey there! I've got this unattractive retaining wall that I'm planning to fix in the future, but I can't afford to do it just yet. In the meantime, I was thinking about planting some trailing plants in the grassy area to hopefully hide the wall a bit. I'd love to get some suggestions on which plants would look the best and maybe add some color! I'm a complete newbie when it comes to flowers, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

You might want to consider climbing roses, jasmine, or clematis. Just a heads up, only certain types of jasmine are evergreen, so the others might look a bit bare during the winter. They can add a nice splash of color, but keep the seasonal changes in mind!

That sounds like a great plan! Just make sure to pick a variety that grows well in your climate, and consider how much sun or shade the area gets!

Thanks for the suggestions! Just to clarify, I'm looking to hide the bottom part of the wall, like the wood or concrete along its length. Any recommendations for that?
