I've got a walk-in closet with a door-jamb switch that works great for turning the lights on and off. However, I have a cat that likes to nudge the door open, which means the lights sometimes stay on all night. Since there's no regular light switch, I'm looking for a lightbulb or bulb base that can start a timer when turned on and automatically shut off after about 30 minutes. I've done some research but didn't find an easy solution. The space around the door jamb switch is pretty tight, so something like a Shelly relay wouldn't fit. Plus, the light fixture doesn't have constant power, which complicates the idea of a smart relay or bulb. Any suggestions that would keep both my cat and me happy?
